1. The RecoGST tool itself is offline
RecoGST is a macro-enabled Excel tool that runs entirely on your own computer. When you use RecoGST to reconcile your GSTR-2B data against your books, none of that business data — invoices, GSTINs, tax figures, or any file you load into the tool — is uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party. Everything happens locally, inside your own Excel workbook.
2. What we collect through this website
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us directly, through the "Request a Demo" enquiry form on this website. That information is limited to:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (optional)
- The message you write
This information is sent to our contact email address and used solely to respond to your enquiry — to answer questions, arrange a demo, or process a purchase. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with any third party for marketing purposes.
3. Cookies & tracking
This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that profile visitors. Standard web server logs (such as those kept by our hosting provider) may record basic technical information like IP address and browser type, used only for security and performance purposes.
When you purchase RecoGST, you are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the tool for your own business or professional practice, on the number of machines corresponding to your purchased plan. RecoGST — in whole or in part — may not be resold, sub-licensed, redistributed, rented, shared, or otherwise made available to any third party, whether for commercial gain or free of charge. The tool's underlying logic, macros, and code remain the intellectual property of RecoGST and are provided for the licensed user's own use only.
5. Data security
Enquiry data submitted through this website is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Because the RecoGST tool itself works offline, the security of your reconciliation data depends on the security of your own computer — we recommend standard precautions such as keeping your Excel installation and antivirus software up to date.
